On behalf of our directors, management and employees, it is with great pleasure that I extend this invitation for you to join us at Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation’s 74th Annual Member Meeting.
White House Heritage High School in Robertson County will host this year’s event, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 29. We are excited about this brand-new, first-rate facility and we are eager to utilize its space to hold our cooperative’s biggest event.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. for registration and breakfast, followed by the business session which begins at 10 a.m. There will be ample time before the business session begins to cast your votes in the director elections, pick up your favors, register for door prizes and enjoy entertainment provided by the White House Heritage High Chorus.
Three directors are seeking re-election to our board this year, and the results will be announced during the business session. We will also highlight the financial report and discuss issues affecting your co-op.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can vote early in the director elections at your local office Friday, Sept. 28.
If you are new to the area or have never attended our annual meeting, I hope I’ve piqued your interest to come out and experience firsthand the privileges of being a cooperative member. If you have attended before, I appreciate your loyalty and am looking forward to seeing you again.
