CEMC Awards First Lineworker Scholarships

Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation is proud to announce the first recipients of our new Lineworker Scholarship—an initiative designed to support students pursuing a future in the electric utility industry.

Congratulations to Isaac South of Liberty Creek High School and Joshua Cordell of Montgomery Central High School, who have each been awarded the scholarship to help further their education and training toward becoming electric lineworkers.

This scholarship reflects our ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of essential workers who will help power our communities for years to come. We plan to continue offering this scholarship each year, so be on the lookout for this scholarship to open for applications early next year. We look forward to seeing what Isaac and Joshua accomplish in the future!
