Connect for a Cause: $3,100 Raised in the First Week
This holiday season, CEMC/Cumberland Connect has launched a new community initiative called Connect for a Cause, and we are excited to share the impact it is already making across our service area. In just the first week of the campaign, new subscribers helped generate $3,100 in donations to support local food banks!

Connect for a Cause runs through the end of 2025. For every new Cumberland Connect internet sign-up during this period, a $20 donation is made to food banks serving families in Stewart, Montgomery, Cheatham, Robertson, and Sumner counties. These donations help provide food and resources to neighbors who are facing increased need, especially during the holiday season and throughout the coming year.
As a local cooperative, caring for our community is one of our founding principles. We believe that strong connections go beyond reliable service. They help strengthen the places we call home. Connect for a Cause is one way we are working to support local families and make a positive difference across our five-county region.
We invite you to follow the campaign’s progress as donation totals grow each week. Cumberland Connect will continue sharing updates on their website and social media pages so members can see the impact this initiative is making in the communities we serve.
